Experiencing trauma can negatively impact on your perception of yourself, relationships with others, and how you see the world overall making healing from your trauma very difficult. Trauma can create stress reactions that could also lead to you developing physical health problems, including long-term or chronic illnesses. This might be because trauma can affect your body as well as your mind, which can have a long-term impact on your physical health. In addition there may be impacts on your spiritual health where your relationship with God is affected.
If the above sounds like you. we invite you to join our trauma therapy group. If you want to move forward and begin healing from your trauma, don’t despair, there is hope. We will provide you support to begin or continue your healing journey.
Healing from Your Trauma
If you or someone you know has experienced some form of trauma and would like to receive support to help you heal from your trauma, we will be beginning our trauma group series February 2, 2023. In this safe space, you will have a chance to process your feelings about your experience, learn about how trauma impacts you, your relationships with others and even your worldview, and will also learn techniques to help you manage feelings of sadness or anxiety that have accompanied that trauma.
You don’t have to feel alone. There is help available if you want to receive it. Consider joining this group if you want to want to work on healing from your trauma or share about it with someone that can benefit. We look forward to having you join.
